Serving as a Registered Nurse for 25 years, Paige has worked with thousands of patients and families in Acute Critical Care, Addictions and End-of-Life Care. Paige created Canadian Health Advocates Inc. (CHAI) so it could assist patients, loved ones and aging adults during a health crisis, on both an emotional and practical level. Paige's professional and personal experience enables her to bridge the gap between the medical community and the patient.

KIRSTIN VEUGELERS, PHD

Personal Patient Navigator, Navigate Your Health

Kirstin Veugelers, PhD, is on a mission to help patients and their loved-ones get results from Canada’s stretched healthcare system. Kirstin personally experienced the frustration of navigating the healthcare system to address her own health issues. Now she has founded Navigate Your Health (est. 2017) to bridge the gap between patients and medical care providers. To support patients effectively she not only draws on her patient experience, but her knowledge and skills from over 10 years in biochemical research and nearly 10 years university teaching.
